GANG VIOLENCE: A Yonkers teenager was initially treated by the school nurse and then taken to the hospital after being brutally assaulted and stabbed multiple times at school
Two 17-year-old students are in custody, and a knife was recovered.
Part of the felony assault was caught on surveillance camera.
There is no active lock-down at the school, but parents are picking up students out of fears of retaliatory violence happening in the school.
The stabbing victim underwent emergency surgery at a local trauma center and is in critical, but stable condition.

Many parents are saying the Yonkers Public Schools should be the safest place for #Yonkers children and there should me metal detectors in every single school entrance.
Yonkers residents are saying that the 16 year old victim victim has been assaulted on school grounds several other time's before and that the Yonkers Public Schools has ignored this abuse.
Also sources say the 17 year old suspect's are members of a local Yonkers gang that is active in the school.
Both 17-year-old suspects are being charged with Attempted Murder 2 and Assault 1 and their initial court appearance will be in the Youth Part of Criminal Court.
