BROOKLYN DAILY EAGLE: Affordable Housing Lottery Opens At Domino Sugar Factory’s One South First

The new year is kicking off with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for apartment hunters searching for new homes in 2022.

A total of 89 affordable housing units at One South First are now open for applications on the city’s Housing lottery website.

The 330-unit building features over 25% affordable apartments including studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments for New Yorkers that meet the city’s income criteria.

Applicants with incomes ranging from $55,646 – $167,570 (80% – 130% Area Median Income) will be eligible to apply.

For the lowest band at 80% AMI, a studio will go for as little as $1,550 while a 2-bedroom can go for as little as $1,961. For the highest band at 130% AMI, a 1-bedroom will cost $2,658....
