COUSIN ARRESTED: Manhattan Mom Was Likely Killed Days Before Her Body Was Found In A Storage Container In The Bronx
MELROSE, THE BRONX: The body of Nisaa Walcott, 35, was found in a plastic container outside a self-storage facility in the Bronx on Friday afternoon, a week after she went missing.
Police charged her cousin, 21-year-old Khalid Barrow with murder and concealing a human corpse.
Cops closed in on Barrow after reviewing surveillance footage of Walcott and Barrow entering her apartment together on February 16, according to reports.
Only he reemerged from the building, according to footage which also captured him lugging a plastic container from the complex.
Walcott's body was discovered by a man who frequented the sidewalk on University Avenue for discarded furniture.
Walcott, who worked at the Live on Lexington barber shop, was described by friends as a hard worker and a good mother to her 15-year-old son.
