CENTRAL PARK: Brush Fires Send Smoke Into Air Over Manhattan

MANHATTAN: Pedestrians reported a fire in Central Park on Tuesday.

Firefighters headed to parts of the park near West 110th Street for reports of multiple brush fires

After about two hours, the fires were under control.

Online videos and pictures show smoke in the air over the park and flames. 

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the fires.

No injuries have been reported.
