BROOKLYN: Borough's Tallest High-Rise, a Penthouse With Expansive Views Asks $6 Million
REAL ESTATE: A penthouse on the 88th floor of The Brooklyn Tower—the tallest building in Brooklyn—was listed for $6.075 million on Thursday.
The 93-story primarily residential mixed-use building in Downtown Brooklyn was developed by JDS Development Group and designed by SHoP Architects, with interiors by AD100 Gachot Studios.
The building has topped out, reaching its final height of 1,066 feet, but the construction still continues. Some units will be available for residents starting early next year, and this particular penthouse is expected to be fully ready to move in around spring 2023.
Spanning 2,432 square feet, the penthouse features four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing panoramic views from every room.
The primary bedroom is on the northwest corner, offering views of the New York Harbor, as well as the Statue of Liberty and Lower Manhattan.
It has a walk-in closet and a secondary closet in addition to the en-suite bathroom.
The rest of the bedrooms face east, featuring views of the East River and the Williamsburg Bridge.
The building offers over 120,000 square feet of amenities scattered throughout different floors.
On the sixth and seventh floors, there is the Athletic Club that includes a fitness center, a 75-foot indoor pool and a 75-foot outdoor pool, cocktail bars, a children’s playroom, coworking spaces, a library lounge with a conference room, and a cinema with a wet bar.
Residents can also enjoy shuffleboard and billiards.
On the 66th floor, referred to as the Sky Deck, there is a basketball court, a dog run and a children’s playground.
The Sky Lounge located on the 85th floor offers lounges, bars and outdoor fire pits.
