NY Governor Kathy Hochul And Lawmakers Reach Deal With A $220 Billion Budget

The $220 billion budget will include a gas tax suspension, to-go cocktails, fast-tracking downstate casinos, bail changes and funds for a new Buffalo Bills stadium.

The governor, navigating her first budget since replacing disgraced former governor Andrew Cuomo last year. 

Voting on some of the already introduced budget bills was expected to begin in both Democratic-led chambers.
